Although the winter season can seem cold and drearier, I secretly anticipate hot cocoa, oversized blankets, and fuzzy socks. Reina and Fred seem oblivious to the cold and even little Annie insists that wearing a sweater is not in her immediate future. I patiently await the time of mismatched gloves, red noses, and of course the endless sniffles. We've started this year's season out strong with ice skating lessons for the kids... something to do at the first glimpse of light on Saturday. They've only been once, but I'm pretty sure that they'll be the next Kristi Yamaguchi, unless futlbol pans out. We've been told by the soccer coach that Fred has great kinesthetics.. and he should because he has been devotedly developing that at home.
I've recently developed an addiction to collecting various types of vacuum cleaners. I've heard somewhere that people that have a plethora of cleaning supplies and equipment usually have messy homes. Hmm, interesting. Let's just say that this is the greatest and latest on me. Now a word on John. He is in law school.
